The international conference AIMS Meeting is organised by the Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon on 18-21 March 2021
It will be the first time that the conference takes place in digital format and the programme offers lectures, debates and workshops by several internationally renowned speakers, including Andrew Pelling, co-founder and scientific director of Spiderwort, a biotechnology company, and French biologist Jules Hoffmann, Nobel Prize for Medicine 2011
This year, the themes of the AIMS Meeting focus on global health threats (climate change, infectious diseases, lack of access to healthcare), neuroscience (memory processing, emotions, behaviour) and advances in science, according to the organisation
