These were some of the words of the President of the Portuguese Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SPOT) - João Gamelas - to reinforce the mission of the 42nd edition of the National Congress of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, on November 2, 3 and 4, 2023, at the Algarve Congress Center - Vilamoura.

The diversified program of the Congress, structured by SPOT in conjunction with its societies, sections, study groups and commissions, included scientific sessions, round tables, sessions with leading international societies, industry symposia and workshops, invicted lectures and many other excellent opportunities for learning and updating knowledge.
