A "breath of fresh air" to the current outlook for respiratory diseases

Under the theme "Believe, Empower, Follow", the 7th Conference of the Respiratory Diseases Study Group, one of the working groups of the Portuguese Association of General Practice and Family Medicine took place on 21st and 22nd October 2021 at the PT Meeting Centre, Parque das Nações, Lisbon.

With the aim of stimulating interprofessional cooperation in the area of respiratory medicine, the conferences provided a forum for discussion and clinical practice on pandemic precautions, smoking, asthma and other respiratory infections.

The commitment of the organising committee resulted in an enriching programme with workshops, an important formative milestone of GRESP, symposia and free communications sessions. Interesting content was delivered by physicians from FGM and other specialties. International speakers Dr Richard Beasley, Dr Dave Singh and Dr Richard Russell added a broad perspective to the agenda.  

Finally, who was not left out were the workshops, an important formative landmark of GRESP, symposia and sessions of free communications.
