It's time to "stir up the waters" for the defence and protection of Rivers

On 18, 19 and 20 November, the European Rivers Summit 2021 took place in a hybrid format at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.

This important meeting, promoted by GEOTA - Environment and Spatial Planning Study Group, brought together experts, advocates and enthusiasts for aquatic ecosystems to talk about climate change in freshwater, measures to protect and restore rivers, dam removal and environmental justice, among other relevant topics.  

Leading Work:

- Management of the virtual platform for remote participants (webapp)

- Support in the management of the face-to-face event and social programme (booking of places and payment for dinners)

- Secretariat on site (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation)
