FastTrack Cities 2021: the initiative to eliminate urban epidemics

Pavilion 1of FIL opened doors from 20 to 22 October for an exchange of best practices on how to accelerate responses to HIV, TB and viral hepatitis, as well as the covid-19 pandemic scenario.

Launched on World AIDS Day 2014 and already with a network of over 350 countries, the Fast-Track Cities initiative, organised by the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC), in partnership with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), has committed to taking further steps towards the Sustainable Development Goal. As such, this edition also sought to celebrate achievements and recognise excellence among cities, allies and sponsors by distributing nine awards at the conference.
