Dynamic dialog and knowledge sharing are the way to implement sustainable and transformative solutions for tropical regions

The first Tropical Summit - Foreseeing Answers to Global Challenges took place at the Lisbon Congress Center from November 4 to 8, 2024, bringing together global leaders to address the most pressing tropical challenges. The event was organized by the University of Lisbon, the Tropical College of the University of Lisbon and the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), with the High Patronage of the President of the Portuguese Republic and the support of the Government.

This Summit was a unique opportunity to bring together academics, companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, creating a space to present and debate innovative solutions, products, case studies and good practices.
