Lisbon proved to be the ideal setting for sharing knowledge, experiences and advances in all aspects of Electrochemistry

Between May 19 and 23, 2024, the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) hosted the XXVI Congress of the Ibero-American Society of Electrochemistry (SIBAE), an outstanding event that brought together researchers and specialists from all over Ibero-America. Under the theme"Electrochemistry - Opportunities and Challenges in the 21st Century", the congress offered a privileged space for debate and the exchange of ideas on new trends, innovations and challenges facing this scientific area.

The program included presentations of a high scientific standard, plenary sessions led by renowned experts, and moments of interaction that fostered collaboration between researchers and institutions.
